Meet project concerns for HSE
Provide a sound basis for good HSE performance during the project implementation phase and subsequent beneficial operation.
Raise the level of HSE awareness throughout the project team.
Provide HSE input to other disciplines in good time to avoid rework
To detail the Project HSE Management System.
To define contractual HSE management requirements.
To define contractual HSE management requirements.
To identify the HSE deliverables, this includes HSE Studies, Reviews and Audits.
To present the program of HSE work that ensures the deliverables are achieved timely manner and in line with the overall project program.
ENVIRONMENTAL GOALS
The following specific objectives were identified in order to meet the goals of “no damage to the environment” and compliance with all applicable environmental regulations
Minimize combustion emission
Minimize fugitive emissions
Minimize waste generation and improve waste segregation
No use of ozone depleting substances.
As a minimum meet statutory discharge limit
Minimize the use of chemicals.
Place an emphasis on Prevention, Good Operational Practices and Good Housekeeping for internal environmental management.
Establish Environmental Performance Indicators (EPI) for monitoring compliance with stated pollution management objectives.
